Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I come humbly before You to enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. The Bible says to be thankful in all things even in this time of stress, even in this time of heartache, even in this time of hurt, even in this time of death. Lord Jesus I ask that You would give me the strength to stand. The Bible says through many tribulations we shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. Father, give me the strength to stand!
Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit help me to be steadfast, help me to be the man that stands and dies for my wife as Christ died for the church. Help me to be the man that is the leader of my family, help me to be the man to wait for your deliverance, for the Bible says that he that waits upon the Lord shall be renewed with strength and he should mount up with wings like eagles and he should run and not grow weary. Lord Jesus, I ask for the strength to stand and I ask for the strength to be steadfast even though I feel like I am being slain. I shall still worship and follow You and I shall still obey You, Lord Jesus. Help me not to fall into wrath and anger and to be exposed, but cover me with Your grace and mercy. Let me be a city on a hill, let me be light in darkness, and let me be salt on this earth.
Lord Jesus, I ask for Your strength and let me bring glory to the Father by the power of Your Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Let my children see me as a man that was faithful to God through the trial, through the pain, and through the accusations. The Bible says that we are more than conquerors, that we are overcomers and he that endures shall be saved. Your word says that he that submits to God shall be lifted at the proper time. Father, you are sovereign and you allow these things even though I do not understand. The Bible says lean not on my own understanding, but in all my ways acknowledge You and You shall direct my paths.
Father, I give this hurting time to you. I give this trial to you. I give this testing to you. May your will be done. May your story unfold in my life that I might be a testimony to all those who are hurting and to all those that need help and the message to endure. Father, the Bible says that if I need wisdom I can ask for it and you will give it to me more than I can even think or imagine. So, I trust in You. When the mountain is not moved, I will still trust in you to give me the strength to walk with my eyes on Jesus. I praise you and I glorify you and I thank you in ALL things in Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen.
This prayer was written by a man whose wife was unfaithful. Eventually, he was granted custody of his children.
